NEM® natural eggshell membrane
- In pilot study, 11 patients received 500 mg NEM® once daily for four weeks. Supplementation with NEM® produced a significant increase in flexibility at 7 days (27.8% increase). At 30 days there was a significant reduction in general pain (72.5% reduction) and pain associated with range of motion (75.9% reduction), as well as a significant increase in flexibility (43.7% increase).
- In a pilot study 2 patients received 500 mg NEM® once daily for four weeks, while 14 patients were given a different formula. Supplementation with NEM® produced a significant reduction in pain at 7 days (18.4% reduction). The two groups were combined for the last 23 days of the study. At day 30 there was a total 30.2% reduction in pain.1
- In a double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical study, 67 patients were randomly assigned to receive either 500 mg NEM® or placebo daily for 8 weeks. WOMAC subscale scores for pain, stiffness, and function were measured at 10, 30, and 60 days. Supplementation with NEM® produced a significant reduction in pain (15.9% reduction) and stiffness (12.8% reduction) in only 10 days.2

This joint formula has helped my knee pain, my husbands shoulder pain and my son-in-laws knees also. I have tried other supplements for my knees and they did not help this much.

I am 59 years old and have had joint pain in my knees for years, particularly after hiking or downhill skiing. Last winter, I was getting ready for a three day ski trip and decided to try Joint Advantage Gold. I found that after a couple of weeks, I no longer had any pain going up and down the stairs, and I did not even have to wear my knee supports on the ski trip! I was able to cut back to two tablets a day and as long as I keep taking them, the benefits have continued. I am now able to squat down and do other intensive exercise without knee pain. I do not have pain in my joints anymore. I feel that combined with daily exercise that Joint Advantage Gold has been responsible for my absence of joint pain.
