NEM® natural eggshell membrane
- In pilot study, 11 patients received 500 mg NEM® once daily for four weeks. Supplementation with NEM® produced a significant increase in flexibility at 7 days (27.8% increase). At 30 days there was a significant reduction in general pain (72.5% reduction) and pain associated with range of motion (75.9% reduction), as well as a significant increase in flexibility (43.7% increase).
- In a pilot study 2 patients received 500 mg NEM® once daily for four weeks, while 14 patients were given a different formula. Supplementation with NEM® produced a significant reduction in pain at 7 days (18.4% reduction). The two groups were combined for the last 23 days of the study. At day 30 there was a total 30.2% reduction in pain.1
- In a double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical study, 67 patients were randomly assigned to receive either 500 mg NEM® or placebo daily for 8 weeks. WOMAC subscale scores for pain, stiffness, and function were measured at 10, 30, and 60 days. For years, I had taken Glucosamine Chondroitin MSA for my knees. Although it seemed to help, I still had to wear knee supports when hiking, skiing or doing other similar activities. I decided to give this product a try prior to a powder skiing vacation. I took four pills a day for a month prior to the trip and was able to make it through three consecutive days of skiing! Since then, I have found that two pills once a day seems to maintain the benefits just fine. I have recommended this product to several of my friends, and they report good results as well. This is a great product and I highly recommend it.
Not sure how long I have been taking Joint Advantage Gold but several years. When I first started taking it, I had severe back and knee pain. Shortly, I'd say within 2 weeks, I could tell a difference in the pain in my knee, then I realized how much better I was walking and sleeping. I'm thinking I have been on JAG for about 3 years. Joint Advantage Gold is quite effective. Not mentioned in anything I've seen is that one of the reasons it is as apparently effective as it is is because it contains a natural antiinflammatory. Basically, in addition to things for our joints, a natural "aspirin" has been included in the compound... Devil's Claw, Yucca, Bromelain, Celery and a couple of others I don't recall offhand are contained in a compound I give my horse twice a day to relieve pain in her feet. Same compound, basically, is also in Joint Advantage Gold. It's no wonder it is so effective at relieving discomfort...
