My opinion of aspirin or other NSAIDs has not changed, despite aspirin's benefits in preventing heart attack, cancer, and even Alzheimer's. I still don’t feel the benefits outweigh the risks, and I don’t recommend its use.

Alternative health treatments are now being offered more frequently because informed consumers/patients understand and see the benefits and seek the providers that offer those services.  It's consumer-/patient-driven.
