I would like to know what you think about avocados. I know they're pretty high in fat but are they bad for you?
No. Just because they're high in fat doesn't necessarily make avocados bad for you. There's such a thing as good fats and bad fats.
Avocados contain good fats. In fact, studies have shown that a diet enriched with avocados actually decrease the LDL "bad" blood cholesterol levels.
That said, moderation is the order of the day. Overindulging in any fat may cause abnormal weight gain which can then lead to other health problems, including heart disease and diabetes.
