Meriva
In a recent study, 50 adults who took 1 gram of Meriva daily for 90 days were able to carry on normal activity and had minor signs or symptoms as opposed to the beginning of the study. Results:
- By the end of the study, participants' WOMAC (Westren Ontario and McMaster Universities Osteoarthritis Index) score decreased 58%, showing a decrease in pain and stiffness, and improved physical function.
- Participants' social and emotional index score increased over 3 fold.
- Participants had a 336% improvement in their treadmill test.
- Participant CRP scores decreased 16 fold.1
The long-term efficacy of Meriva was tested in an 8 month clinical study. Participants were given 1 gram of Meriva daily. Results:
- WOMAC pain scores dropped significantly following Meriva administration (16.6 to 7.3; decreased 56%), with no significant effects in the control group.
- WOMAC scores for stiffness were reduced significantly from 7.4 to 3.2 (reduced 57%), while scores for the control group remained unchanged after 8 months.
- The results of the treadmill test indicate a 345% improvement from baseline in the Meriva group. This means that the group taking Meriva daily for 8 months could walk 345% longer at the end of the study than they could when they first started the study. This translates to a 3.87-times greater improvement in physical performance in the Meriva group versus the control group (the control group could only walk 89% longer).
- Meriva induced a statistically significant reduction of all measured markers of inflammation. The control group only had marginal or non-significant effects.2

I have been taking Joint Advantage for many many years for osteoarthritis joint pain along with other anti-inflammatory supplements. I had used joint advantage gold in the past for some knee issues. I got relief so I put it away. This week was in an accident, and a day later was suffering from shoulder muscle pain. I took it for two days and pain is gone. It is amazing. I could barely move my head without pain!!! Great stuff!

I've been taking your Joint Advantage Gold Advanced Relief for over 3 months. Perhaps my pain is caused by something that requires surgery, since your Joint Advantage Gold Advanced Relief has not reduced my shoulder pain by a significant amount....In fact, the pain seems about the same, or minimally improved. I still have about 2 1/2 months of capsules left, and will continue to use them (3 capsules,twice daily). Hopefully, perhaps a significant pain reduction will occur in the next couple of months. I certainly hope so!
